So the suggestion is that we make January a month of 'love' (or whatever your 'take' is on Valentine's Day!) I'll go ahead unless anyone strongly objects.

'Love' as the subject of song, huh? Aren't 90% of pop songs about love (or possibly sex)? Of course, within the SWC, this reduces to about 5% as we all try and write songs to engage everyone's brains rather than, well, you know.

Okay, just to be clear, I take it we're talking about romantic love? Not the sort of love you may feel for, say, a sibling, a pet or, as in that weird film, an operating system.

Tim, I can't help thinking you are over analysing this a bit. Kate has a lot to answer for, leaving all those psychology books around! I look forward to seeing how you put your usual unique twist on this one.
(Rob, having trouble logging it at the moment in case there's a glitch)

Just a quick note to say that I am going away next weekend, so the songs will go live (and the list will close) on Tuesday 3rd February at midday. I am also planning on the poll closing at the very end of Valentine's Day, which means you will have less than two weeks to write a review and vote (though you can of course vote and THEN write a review even after the closing of the polls.)

this seem like an unusually fixed closing date. Normally entry closes when the administrator has finished his song!
