Yes, November is the month before December and December is the season of goodwill to all men (and women.) And so just as the baby Jesus was born of the virgin, Mary (yeah, right) so I would love to hear of your own miraculous creations in the form of new Christmas songs. They can be anything but they must contain a Christmas message (or a wintery/holiday feel) be it happy or sad/depressing. Instrumentation I leave to you but I know that I for one will be digging out my Andy Williams and Bing Crosby albums for big band inspiration.
By the way, my plan is to close the poll for voting on December 25th so that someone will enjoy an extra glow of warmth on Christmas Day knowing that they have at last written a Christmas Number One!!!! Up yours, X Factor!!

As a possible Christmas gift, how would everyone feel if we allowed multiple entries? I have nothing planned myself but I know that some of you are quite prolific so may welcome the opportunity to do a 'fun' song and a semi-serious song also. Shall we say a maximum of three songs and that includes collaborative efforts? The number of votes allowed will still be dependent upon how many final songs there are but as an individual you only get one set of votes even if you've appeared in three songs (and, though I can't stop you the 'no voting for yourself' rule still applies.)

Very happy to go with up to 3 songs. I hope to complete at least one song (with Karl) - though not sure I'll have time for three!
