If one votes for a song (and you're one of the first) then it's pretty obvious who one has voted for. Therefore, I am happy to change the 'Poll' settings to those outlined above in the Poll.
Let me know your thoughts.

Personally, I don't care if anyone knows who I vote for. It's not like anyone is going to challenge anyone else on it, are they? Even if anyone would ask why I voted for one song rather than another I'd happily tell them. Isn't this the point of the forum, so we can openly discuss stuff?
It may be nice if we could spread the voting more by voting for a top three but there would probably be different problems there (it may not be possible I this forum's voting system).

I think that the polling should be revealed at the end of the polling period.
However, I suggest that we have a much shorter voting period - i.e., one or two weeks rather that the whole month. So, we all have a chance to listen through the song entries and then vote for our favourite and the whole process is over by mid-month. I don't think anybody added or changed a vote in the latter part of last month so that is effectively what happened. I don't mind other songwriters knowing which way I have voted, but it would be a bit more exciting if the voting was revealed.
Originally I suggested to Rob that we vote for 3 songs (placing them 1st, 2nd, 3rd) but I'm happy to just vote for one song if that is what the software allows!

I agree with Mike (as my vote indicates!) but the 1st, 2nd, 3rd idea (though a good one) is beyond the capabilities of this Poll add-on for this free forum. I will investigate other options though.
