I'd been thinking the same thing as Tim about the website members meeting and playing, but in a slightly sifferent form. What about an acoustic-style gig where we all perform two or three of our songs solo, or with a fellow member/s? At the end we could one form one big band and do two or three covers. I know most of you live in Harwich, so a pub there would be great.

I'm certainly not against having some form of get-together and an acoustic night, where everyone gets up and does a turn, sounds like a nice idea. I know many of us are originally from Harwich but, I have no idea where many of the of the SWC live (I know there is some with a connection to Stoke, but that's about it).
That said, if it does turn out that we get it together in Harwich and it requires an overnight stay, I have a couple of spare beds (most of the time).

1. What about a song driven by a recurring riff? It could be played by any instrument. 2. A song with just one voice and one instrument?
